Uros, Amantani and Taquile Island
Day 1:
Early start of the tour sailing to the world famous Uros Island made out of large reed where indigenous communities found a uniquely way to live off the Lake. Soon after sail to Amantani Island on the Lago Mayor. Amantani Island is located 26 miles away from Puno Port, share and learn the traditional way of living with the indigenous, enjoy a typical lunch and then head visit the Temple of Mother Earth (Pachamama) as you interact with the Island inhabitants and watch the amazing landscapes surrounding you. Stay overnight at a local family home.
Day 2:
Head to Taquile after a typical breakfast, a town known for their beautiful landscapes, archaeological sites and handycrafts. Enjoy lunch and sail back to Puno in the afternoon.
